Short route connecting the Corsaglia valley floor with the first alpine ridge separating the Corsaglia valley itself from the neighboring Maudagna valley.
Running along a mostly unpaved path with moderate slopes, the route winds through one of the wildest corners of the Monregalese mountains, featuring varied vegetation that includes chestnut, beech, hornbeam, ash, alder, and birch trees.
Just before reaching Borello is the Rio Sbornina near which were located the ancient black marble quarries of Frabosa, used in several noteworthy architectures such as the Chapel of the Shroud of the Turin Cathedral.
