A brief appendix to the Borello variant of the M72 route, which, near Sella Spa, turns southward, ascending the ridge (toward Monte Mongioie and the Tanaro Valley) along a dirt mule trail that is partially overgrown with grass in its initial section, skirting Costa dello Zucco and circling the outline of Cima Ferlette, until it reaches Alpe Raschera and the lake of the same name, located within the administrative boundaries of the municipality of Magliano Alpi and famous for giving its name to Raschera DOP, a typical local alpine cheese sold in round or square wheels and available in various ages of maturation.
