A brief extension of the M72 route, which climbsfrom Alpe Brignola along the ridge, turning southwest, until it reaches Sella Brignola, situated in a fascinating karst amphitheater enclosed by Cima Seirasso, Cima della Brignola, and Monte Ferlette.
The trail—short and on a dirt surface, though its width tends to narrow as it climbs in elevation—offers a beautiful view of the Brignola Lakes (the largest bodies of water in the Ligurian Alps) and the small Lake Raschera, near which lies Alpe Raschera, inextricably linked to the cow’s-milk cheese of the same name, which has been awarded Protected Designation of Origin status.
