Borello

A rugged loop trail that winds through the heart of the upper Corsaglia Valley, which has always been considered the most unspoiled green extension of the Monregale valleys.

Running mostly along a dirt path, the trail follows the right bank of the valley and offers a firsthand experience of the area’s wooded landscapes (predominantly chestnut groves), while also providing a spectacular view of the peaks in the upper valley, which reach their highest point at 2,476 meters on Pizzo d’Ormea.

From Camperi to Costacalda, from Case Milano to Borello, an immersion in the Alpine world ofthe so-called“land of the Kyé,” the unique local culture that is still reflected today in the language and customs. An optional mountaineering route leads to the ridge of Monte Baussetti.
