Saint Eusebius

Unexpected loop route, on an almost completely paved surface, weaving rural and wooded landscapes with more cultivated corners, especially near the vineyards of hamlet Surie.

Next to the distinctive chapel of Sant'Eusebio, which houses 15th-century frescoes, the views of the badlands are particularly noteworthy. These spectacular gullies, created by the erosion of clay-rich rocks by rainwater, are quite common in the area and are often—and not by chance—used as a natural backdrop for events and concerts.
