Juniperus

Short loop route in the hills of Castellino Tanaro, situated in an elevated and panoramic position and inhabited since Roman times.

Infeuded in medieval times by the Aleramic family of Valperga di Masino before becoming part of the possessions of the Marquisate of Ceva, it preserves, among other things, an 11th-13th-century tower and the parish church with 16th-century frescoes.

The route alternates between dirt and paved surfaces and passes through rural landscapes featuring woods, mixed shrubbery, and meadows and pastures.
