Testanera

A varied loop trail that starts in the historic center of Ceva (home, among other things, to the beautiful Marenco Theater, the parish church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, and the picturesque Broglio Tower) and heads east along the right bank of the Tanaro River, climbing up to the hills of the Alta Langa and passing, in particular, through the scenic town of Torresina.

The route winds its way along paved and unpaved roads, passing through mixed deciduous forests and meadows and pastures. Finally, the ancient fortified site in San Lino is worth noting; it was once one of the most important military structures in Piedmont.
