Despite its modest elevation, this pleasant loop route plunges into one of the wildest and most unspoiled corners of the Tanaro Valley, moving among chestnut, ash and beech trees and skimming at length along the characteristic Rio Ricorezzo.
One of the most picturesque stretches is the section near the rural chapel of Sant'Anna, built along an ancient road—now a forest road—and home to several frescoes dating back to the late 17th century.
