Garbenna

A short loop itinerary between Nucetto and Bagnasco that winds along the hydrographic right of the valley skirting, at first, the Tanaro River and then climbing up to Regione Garbenna from which there is a beautiful panoramic view of the Bagnasco plain.

Finally, on the way back, the trail runs alongside the old Nucetto coal mine, which began operations in the early 19th century and at one point employed as many as 300 workers at a time.

In addition to the informational and educational signs, the area now features a well-equipped picnic area.
