Easy mid-valley route that winds along the so-called Tanaro Cycle Route, symbolically joining the villages of Priola, Garessio and Ormea to Ponte di Nava, the regional border.
Among its most distinctive features are the stretch through the Trappa area at the foot of theAntoroto peak, the entry into the town of Ormea after the scenic Torre di Barchi, and the shady, wild landscape in the Cantarana area.
Up to Ormea, the route runs almost parallel to the Tanaro River and, from time to time, to the Ceva-Ormea railway, which was designated one of Italy’s Tourist Railways in 2016.
